Ryan and Mike collectively have a vision for a company that will offer unparalleled service in an industry that continues to get more sophisticated. The demands of "just-in-time" supply and inventory management require a combination of skill and technology that will allow AFN to effectively communicate with all of our business partners. We recognize AFN's role in your company's success or failure will be determined by our ability to get your product to the assembly lines and ultimately to the shelves for consumption more efficiently than your competitors.

The co-founders have made a commitment to achieve AFN's vision by building a leadership team within AFN that is second to none in the industry. These respective leaders then manage their own teams of people with these two basic principles in mind:

1.	Communicate accurate information on a 24/7/365 basis.
2.	Never accept the status quo. No matter how well something is working, challenge it and constantly try to make it better.

Chief Operating Officer

All seven departments of AFN are reporting to Dean and he is ultimately responsible for the successful development, implementation and continuous improvement of people, processes and systems at the company.

His mission is to provide the best overall customer service experience, successful execution of all transactions, and ongoing development and maintenance of all customer, carrier and other vendor relationships.

Dean has over 20 years experience in senior operating, financial, business development and strategic planning positions in high-growth, entrepreneurial companies such as Waste Management, and United Waste Systems, as well as with large Fortune 100 companies such as Con Agra. Dean earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS-Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Jeff Daube

Chad McGinn
Chief Financial Officer

With a keen eye for detail and a dedication to customer service, Chad's goal at AFN is to provide the highest standard of accountancy. And he has the background to deliver—over 10 years experience ranging from individual tax returns to the management of a $600 million company's financial development. Under Chad's guidance, our accounting department assists in all of our customers' financial needs by offering various payment options, adherence to invoicing requirements and completion of transactions with the greatest ease possible.

Jared Palmer
General Counsel

Jared oversees the legal department at AFN, which is a key component to managing our tremendous success. Having a full-time attorney in-house allows us to respond immediately to any legal issues that our shippers or carriers may have. Because of his legal background and understanding of the complicated transportation laws, Jared is also very successful in resolving claim issues on behalf of our shippers and carriers. In addition, he conducts in-house seminars to keep our team members up to date on the changes affecting the transportation industry. In March 2005, Jared was appointed Midwest Regional Director for the Transportation Consumer Protection Council, Inc. (now the Transportation Logistics Council). And if that doesn't keep him busy enough, Jared contributes articles and is active in the transportation industry.

Douglas George
Director of Managed Transportation

As Director of AFN's Managed Transportation division, Douglas provides leadership and innovation to AFN's ever expanding third party logistics solutions division. Douglas has over fifteen years of vast experience in the field of transportation and third party logistics with a wide range of multi-national organizations. Before joining AFN, Douglas held various leadership positions overseeing management teams, operations, and business development at Ryder Integrated Logistics and Roadway Express. His extensive areas of transportation and logistics knowledge include: sales, building and strengthening customer relations, developing innovative transportation solutions, and implementing and managing supply chain solutions. Douglas views each client as an individual and takes the time to analyze the clients' transportation needs, goals, and organization as a whole. Furthermore, he is dedicated to his customers and providing them with the best third party logistics solutions possible.

Douglas earned his MBA from Jones International University in Colorado and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania.

Vice President of Sales

Jerry is a senior level management executive who brings over 20+ years of proven results and experience to AFN. His background includes senior-level leadership positions in sales, marketing and general management functions for multi-billion dollar fortune 500 companies, privately held and entrepreneurial organizations.

He is a flexible, results-oriented leader in the area of motivating his sales & marketing teams to achieve high results.

Jerry's daily goal is to exceed our customer's expectations by delivering superior customer service and account management.

Jerry has earned a Business Administration Degree for Shepperton University, UK.

Evan Laskaris
Vice President of Carrier Procurement

Under Evan's leadership, the Carrier Procurement division enables us to provide our customers with superior service and unique transportation solutions that are first class in the industry. His goal is to ensure that we continually challenge the status quo and work to exceed expectations each day.

Evan has a unique blend of experience in TL, LTL, Intermodal, Freight Forwarding, Print Logistics and has managed transportation budgets of $200 Million. He began his career with Roadway Express and has since held senior management roles and championed continuous improvement initiatives with CEVA Logistics and Quebecor World Logistics.

Evan holds both a BA in Political Science and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of South Carolina, Columbia.
